Nursery Tour

Nursery Tour

I’m so excited to show you guys baby Bowie’s nursery!

Bowie arrived early on Thanksgiving Day and it’s been a bit chaotic before and since but I’m glad to be able to show you how his nursery turned out.

I hope you enjoy!

First things first, I created this DIY Mud Cloth Accent Wall last summer and loved how it turned out and thought it would look great in a nursery.

This was a win, win since it meant I didn’t need to repaint while super pregnant.

We splurged a bit on the nursery furniture set from West Elm.

I fell in love with it and know we will get plenty of use out of it.

The glider, however, I was able to save a bit on by buying it from someone on Facebook Market Place.

I also used a few items I already had like the pouf and rug.

Then, I got some more affordable finds at Target, like this side table and lamp.

I also knew I wanted to incorporate some hexagons in his room since we used that shape a lot in our wedding.

The shelves above his dresser were also from Target’s dollar spot and a super affordable way to decorate.

Then, I used things like the teethers from Mushie and the small stuff animals from Cuddle and Kind to style them.

I couple product suggestions that have really saved me are the Hatch Baby Grow Smarter Changing Pad and Scale and the Munchkin Diaper Pail.

I love the fact that the changing pad is a wipeable one, especially with how many times he has peed on me!

And the diaper pail has saved me the chore of having to carry down diapers daily.

For his reading corner I used some shelves I already had for his books and some macramé I made for that little extra touch.

Then, of course, I had to include some sloths in his crib and a snake plant he can grow with.

But my favorite part of the whole room is his neon name sign!

I knew I wanted one of these before we even knew his name and thought it would look so cool against the mud cloth accent wall.

I hope you too like how his room turned out. Let me know in the comments below what is your favorite part.
