Office & Playroom Makeover

Hi everyone!

It’s been a long time since I posted, but I wanted to pop back on and show you guys one of the many things that have changed around our home since having our son Bowie.

Although I loved the way our guest room looked before, it was no longer very practical for us to have one as it is rare that anyone ever stays with us.

What we really needed was an office space for me and a playroom for our son Bowie since I primarily work from home with him.

I definitely wanted to keep this space fun, so the first thing I bought was this velvet yellow futon from Mr. Kate.

I also knew I wound need a soft play area for Bowie to play. So, rather than buying an area rug, I decided to go with a foam playmat instead.

And of course we needed to add some storage for all of the toys we will soon be accumulating with his first birthday and Christmas right around the corner.
