One Room Challenge Week 1: Half Bath Makeover

I am super excited to be a guest participate in the Spring 2021 One Room Challenge!

The ORC is an 8-week design challenge following 20 featured designers and hundreds of guest participants. Week one is all about sharing spaces and design plans for the reveals to come.

My project for the next eight weeks is to tackle our first floor half bath. We’ve been in our house now for almost two years and with this last year’s pandemic I have been slowing working on rooms throughout and making it feel more like home. Even though this room is small in size I love having a half bath for guests. While the design choices from the previous owners aren’t too horrible, I definitely want to make it more of our own. My plans include striping the existing wallpaper, painting a feature wall, building some new shelves and adding a new mirror and décor. I can’t wait to bring you all along on this ORC journey!
